sorry, not sure how nicaragua got there!
much nicer area, would be possible to stay with a tent too
we stayed in the grass lot just beyond the market spot, flat with shade areas. Talked with the people from the docks & paid $100 per night, security of locked gates at night & nicaragua than the open gravel car park
Report Check-InVery quiet bivouac until around 5:30 a.m. when nights of firecrackers woke us up. this continued for at least 3 hours every once in a while. safe
Report Check-InStill 100 pesos for round trip to island. In my opinion definitely worth the trip for the views and experience. Better to go earlier in the day to avoid long lines climbing the statue on top. I did not camp overnight at San Pedrito but it looks suitable.
Report Check-InWe spent the night in the free parking lot after seeing summer on the island. The night and the morning was calm. You can go by boat to Janitzio Island for 100 pesos per person.
Nous avons passé la nuit sur le parking gratuit après voir été sur l'île. La nuit et la matinée était calme. Vous pouvez aller en bateau sur l'île de Janitzio pour 100 pesos par personne.
Report Check-InWe stayed for two nights, parking is big and flat, no problem with our 24 ft. It's very quiet on weekdays because the shuttles for Janizo only work on weekends. Very close to the city center where we had no problem to park near the basilica. Safe and free.
