Description
Large Foodplus grocery store with the best selection we’ve seen in northeastern Africa. Almost what you’d expect in a bigger European city. Excellent place to stock up if going into Ethiopia or Uganda.
There’s more expats here than you’ll see in other places around Eldoret and it’s priced accordingly, but it’s fair and not extortionate.

Nicest shopping situation since the legit Carrefour in Yaoundé, Cameroon ! Good looking meat (vacuum packed available), veggies, dry nuts and fruits, big indian and asian food sections, local beers (IPA),...etc. Prices were fair (some prices were ridiculous (like 500g of Barilla pasta for 5€) but for most of it, it was decent).
Secured and begger free parking. Other nice shops and restaurant in the Mall. We ate at the Java but it took 1h30 for the food to come and it was disgusting. Coffee was good though.
Very clean and tidy situation. It's a true oasis in messy Kenya.
There is also a pretty legit Hardware store just outside the mall called HEET. You have to go out of the gates and go west : 50 m after the gates, you will see some other gates for a kinda commercial area with lot of different shops. They sell a lot of tools if you need, pretty much anything you would need.
Report Check-InFantastic place to do some shopping. There is also a Java Cafe and other restaurants. Big parking at the back of the mall. We just made it with our 3.6m high car through the entrance gate.
