We arrive in the dark and they charge 4000 NGN for camping.
They say they have increased the prices. When we asked about the cheapest room, we were told that it was 2400 NGN for 2 people.
So be careful! Here too (like everywhere in Nigeria), no one is "welcoming" or "friendly"; they are only out to rip off the overlanders. Only naive people don't notice this.
The beer in the restaurant was lukewarm and the food, although we specifically asked for "not spicy", was so spicy that one of us couldn't eat it.
The next morning, when we wanted to leave, the gates were locked and we had to wait over an hour to get out because the person who had the key had "driven into town"! In the end, a barrier was dismantled to allow us to exit at another gate.
Everyone should think twice about whether they want to spend the night here.

Even though they were fully booked and had a wedding celebration in the evening they found a place to park our car with roof tent and a room, where we could use bucket shower and toilet.
We went to the Young JP hotel before, where we were denied by a not very welcoming manager.

it is a very calm, peaceful, and safe camp spot or Bungalow sleeping place.
we paid 2,000 Naira for one night and two people. David, the manager, would have opened us toilet, though we have everything in our cabin pick up.
you can lay badminton or soccer in the evening. Also for kids it's a cool playground.
no generator noise at night and the cars are not hearable.
The camp has its own security guards at night with guns.
there is a Minibar with cool beer and water. You can also have breakfast and lunch/ dinner at the place.
They are welcoming but not pushy for some business.

Can't enter the park other than the rest camp. I was told the season to go inside is December to end of April.

i didnt stay here, to expensive (12500) for a realy bad condition room.

Still a lovely place to stay. We rented a bungalow between two cars, but we said we would prefer to sleep in the car. Then their was an added per person camping fee. In the end we paid 6000 with 4 people, but had to negotiate a bit.

The place is great and the hikes and areas to visit sound awesome. We didn't take the time to explore, but it sounds it's well worth it. In Serti you can change some dollars to naira. The rangers can help you.
