Colombia
After an extensive shipping from Mexico to Cartagena we found this quiet, relaxing place directly at the sea. Perfect food, nice stuff, enough place to park you car secured, nice little huts, very clean. A lot of free space and perfect hammocks. It’s not a typical hotel, it’s more like a open relaxing paradise. Contact information can be found on booking, or AirBnb. Breakfast around 8.000 - 10.000 COP, main dish 15.000 - 28.000 COP.
Bigger and longer rigs should check in advance, car similar to a Mercedes Sprinter should be fine to get there, because of the smaller little street to the hotel.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
A really nice place and they allow to camp in the car. Not for giant rigs, because you have to drive through the spreaded palms, but like mentioned till sprinter-vans should work perfectly. The "street" to drive to the hotel is also not so wide.
They are way more expensive now, but for the friendly and good service here, we think it's fair enough.
You can use the toilets&shower as a camper and all the chilling lounges and the pool. WLAN service in the reception.
We paid 70'000 per night (2people and a dog, toyota landcruiser).
(Perhaps we are bad in negotiate but sometimes here in iOverlander it's a bit too much with all the "but you can negotiate till...(a price before years..?)" and to always get the best for the cheapest - good service isn't for free).
She started at 80'000 and as we mentioned we don't need electricity it was 70'000. (We already visited some campings from expats, which are similar in costs.)
Cabañas/for two start at 290'000COP.
We didn't call before, but if you want to, that's the number, also with whatsapp:

or you find it on instagram: @ecohotelkocoluu
Very nice place - they have toillets - could shower - electricity and restaurant- the road to arrive is dificult, but the place y very relaxing
30.000 COP per night ( 2 persons + campervan)
We spend 7 days here
This place looked nice, but there was nobody there when we arrived at around 5.30 pm. So try to contact them before going, because there are not many options around. There are some other hostels alongside the dirt road but everything was closed when we were there. Also, because of the rain the narrow dirt road leading to Kocoluu was very wet and muddy. Doable in a Toyota Landcruiser but not recommended for bigger, non 4x4 vehicles after excessive rain
Report Check-InThis place is in wrong location - it is located at 9.35131, -76.02680
Report Check-InThis is the correct location, about 500m south of the muelle, with a own road from the main road that passes through a private property (with gate). There is a sign at the main road. Very nice and well kept place with lots of place for vehicles under palm trees right on the beach. Long extension cord needed if you want electricity. Outdoor shower. Clean water toilet. Restaurant at the site. 20K/pp
