Namibia
Wow, the freshest and most delicious fish and seafood I've had in Namibia! Just perfect after crossing the stunning desert! Joel, the owner from Portugal, is very friendly and even welcomes overlanders to stay for free in the gated parking area
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Quite disappointing. Asked for large gambas, but they only had small shrimp. Asked for lobster (on menu per 100g), but they only had small ones. Ended up taking the kingclip at N$210, pricey and nothing special.
Report Check-InWhat disappointment after all the great reviews.
The shrimps were small. The Dragon roll tuna was not fresh. The French fries tasted like they were seasoned with flour rather than salt. Tourist prices. Could do better in Namibia
Standing with our camper(small) for free incl.toilett .So we eat twice at the beautifull seafood Restaurant.
Report Check-InThis is a place you should not miss, delicious fresh seafood, nice atmosphere and very attentive staff.
Report Check-InJoel and Francisco are lovely people and the food is amazing!! stayed 2 nights and loved it
Report Check-Inreally nice place! we enjoyed it a lot :) Joel and Francisco warmly welcomed us and even invited us to stay for the night on the property. a place full of hospitality :)
Report Check-InVery good 🍣🍣🍣 they make it fresh!
When you want to fish here 🎣 in the area you must have a permit ➡️ by ministry of fisheries (with building) it cost N$ 14.00 it is very cheap!
Absolutely beautiful king clip in a butter sauce was very fresh.
Olives in oils was amazing.
Price good for quality food.
Will be back
Agree with mycameratravels, overpriced restaurant with friendly owners. Had the 200$ seafood rice, it was completely tasteless, fish wasnt fresh at all and even chewy.
Report Check-InThe food (T-Bone Steak and Kingklip) was fresh and tasty. Recommendation!
Report Check-InI'm sorry to see that this restaurant can't live up to the expectations. Most dishes are prepared with prefabricated ingredients and are far off from fresh seafood. The seafood rice is basically overcooked leftovers in a tasteless broth. The starter of Squid made with bitter paprikapowder and lukewarm oil. The owner was around, but hospitality was far to be found. Do yourself a favour and go to café Diaz.
Report Check-InLovely restaurant with awesome seafood. The owner also let us stay in the backyard and even left the Wifi on during the night. A toilet is also available and water. Highly recommend!
Report Check-InGreat restaurant, and a must visit. The owner allowed us to stay 2 nights, in our truck, in the secure car park of the restaurant. Guard during the night. Right in town, plenty of room for a big rig. Recommended.
Report Check-InVery friendly owner. We also stayed overnight with our campervan after we had dinner. There is a toilet which you can use in the night. WiFi.
The dishes are amazing delicious.
Indeed this is the BEST Restaurant in town if you want to eat seafood. Also the only place where you get fresh tuna directely from the fisherman! Nice protected outside siting as well. We eat here a few times and everything was soooo delicious. At the moment only cash accepted. We defenitely come back again.
Report Check-InGreat place, owner with a heart of gold. Can confirm previous reviews, supporting the restaurant and set up camp in the parking lot for free for Overlanders/ Adventure Bikers. Access to a tap and bathroom overnight. Best seafood in Luderitz hands down.
Report Check-Invery nice fish restaurant with a portuguese owner. Try the " Tuna in Teriyaki sauce"! Delicious! He allows you to camp on the save closed parking area. Very quiet at night with bay view.
Report Check-InAn excellent place (if not the best) where to have seafood in town.
Friendly owner and efficient staff.
it's not cheap for budget travellers, but I will definitely come back if in Luderitz again.
Delicious food. We came in both for lunch and dinner. Seafood first, Portuguese steak later. Great malva pudim. Staff efficient and pleasant, supervised all the time by the owner. Not cheap.
Report Check-InCould not agree with previous reviews. Fish was just ok, however, the seafood rice was disappointing. No depth in flavour, seafood texture was stale and had obviously been cooked for awhile. With the clientele mainly tourist, no one is really going to return. Staff were pleasant. Ambience was fine.
Report Check-InAmazing seafood. We were on the road for 6 months and treated ourselves with oysters, tuna steak, seafood rice and a dessert. All for $N500. The owner is very outgoing, he may even join you at the table (which you may like or not...). When in Luderitz I would eat here again.
Report Check-InGreat sea food. Recommend "seafood rice"! Very friendly owner. Pleasant experience. Allowed me to camp in gated parking lot.
