South Africa
Beautiful medium sized grassed campsites in a small bay nestled right above the water. There’s actually 3 different areas you can camp, two of them overlook the ocean and beach and a 3rd sits further back. One area offers private restrooms for R370 per site, the other which we chose is R290 with very clean shared restrooms. We stayed in site 40A and highly recommend it! No access to any vehicle over 4m high. Restuarant right below campsites. Shopping Mall 10mins drive away.

Nice place with clean amenities and beautiful view. Office was closed when we arrived but after calling the number on the door they were able to help us. Security guy at the gate can sort you out too. Payed 370 rand for a night, water but no power.
Report Check-InNot popular anymore. Only one tent there. 4 policeman minding the day trippers. Office closed at 5pm, there is a phone number to call but no coverage. The police tried to help but in the end we had to go elsewhere. Were told later that there's a security issue too. Pity.
Report Check-InWe stayed two days at this campsite and enjoyed the view over the ocean and down to the beach. The village has only 13 houses at the waterfront, a restaurant and a surfshop.
Report Check-InGreat campsites with beautiful view of surfers paradise Vic Bay.
Option of private ablutions or shared. We opted for private as we went during high season and the camp was quite busy. The ablutions were well maintained and we had nice hot showers. Washing up facilities are shared with the site next door.
Should you wish to surf, there are board/wettie hire places around.
Report Check-InVery nice place, very friendly and helpful staff, the sites with the private bathrom are well maintaind and clean, beautiful view from the sites to the sea
Report Check-Ingreat campsite and amazing views right on the beach. Choice of private/communal ablutions. Highly recommended if you like just watching the ocean from your campsite.
Report Check-InWe checked in by phone, so we did not see anybody. With a key and code we drove up to the campsite. We did not like it. A small flat area without trees. More like a parking place. Price was 320 for 2 people and a car. We did not stay en drove to the wild farm, which we liked a lot better. (Need 4x4)
Report Check-InVery nice place but very very expensive for the quality. 645 ZAR for one night!
Report Check-Intres belle vue.
Report Check-InWonderful Campsites with private ablutions for each. Incredible panoramic view of the bay below you.
Report Check-InVery nice, with private ablutions for each camp site. One of the nicest camp sites I have visited.

Report Check-InAlthough these campsites are clean and have good amenities the site themselves offer no shade and are very secluded.
If you are here specifically for the surf and Vic bay they might be an option however there are much nicer campsites within a 15 drive of Vic bay.
