An abandoned campground in front of a nice lagoon with a shut down restaurant next to it. This spot has marked spaces for parking next to covered cement pads.

Definitely closed. Looks like it was probably a pretty awesome spot at one point.

Drove in to see the campground. It’s abandoned. The restaurant is definitely closed. Windows shut with ply board. It seems like a vacation home area that used to have a restaurant and campground and both are now closed. The lagoon is pretty but wouldn’t stay here even if free.

Spot is barely functional. Decent palapas. Bathrooms are a wreck. Lady in a pickup comes around to collect money. Super gruff and demanded 500 pesos for the night. Didn't seem like the friendliest joint. Restaurant was shut down. Police activity nearby at night. Keep rolling.

One positive: STELLAR shell collecting out on the beach.

Gate was closed about a half mile up. I toohk that as a sign of "don't enter"

This spot has marked spaces for parking next to covered cement pads. Expats frequent the restaurant on property and there are flush toilets. He bartender told us “we don’t collect the money. Someone may come around and ask for 300 pesos.” Nobody did in our two night stay, Sunday and Monday nights. We were happy to buy amazing fish tacos and drinks in the restaurant and the bartender was very kind and friendly. Beautiful, quiet spot on the Sea of Cortez. We were the only overnighters the two nights we were there but did see several people stop for a quick pic or ride their ATVs through throughout the days. Not sure if there’s a way to have a shower or get water but you could ask. Our AT&T hotspot worked great as did our T-Mobile on our phones but the restaurant did not have WiFi.
