Quiet City Overlook | Tourist Attraction

Not quite the scenic view I was expecting, but it does seem quiet and you could probably stay here without any trouble. I'd probably even set up a tent here. It seems the locals do like to walk up to this spot, I passed several people walking, and there were one or two people who walked past when I was near the dam. Nobody seemed concerned that I was there.

Low branches on the way, washed out track to come here. Not suitable for ordinary campers without sufficient clearance.

All 4x4 or 6x6 no problem

Great place to enjoy a view and peaceful. Right next to a small dam, this flat area has enough parking for 3 or 4 large rigs. The view from here overlooks the cities and mountains. It's very quiet and it doesn't appear to be seen by other houses or roads. There are a few small trails up the road, around the water treatment facility. There are no signs here, indicating parking rules or otherwise. Very tranquil and the people of Huayapam are very friendly. We only spent the day here, not overnight, as we are currently renting a house nearby.
