Quiet camp site (for only 1 car) in Ol Pejeta. 4x4 recommended. We stayed luckily in a rooftop tent as during the late evening we saw a buffalo staring at us from a distance. And a grazing elephant came by 10 meters distance from our tent. He was peacefully eating grass and payed no attention to us. Real adventure to stay here. Rangers came by at 20:00 to check if everything is okay and to bring water. No shower or electricity available. We did an early morning game drive by ourselves in the south (4x4 highly recommended) and saw a lion, rhino’s, elephants, giraffes, zebra’s, buffalo’s and many others. Lions are difficult to find, we were lucky. If you really want to see them, book the lion tracking activity.
