Description

I paid the daily $10 state park entrance fee which gave me access to the dump and water station. It is potable water and you can hook a hose up to the spigot. I also asked to use their coin operated showers in the campground.

They instructed me to park in the day use area and then walk over to the showers. The shower had good water pressure and a temperature dial. Nice and hot.

$10 day use pass for the water. Close to the beach.

Just a few meters away from the beach. Walk in campsite for hiker&biker as well. Hot showers, potable water, food lockers.

Yep! As all the other comments say- $10 for access to the state park, water is free, dumping is $10. Camping is $35 a night with no hook ups. Great spot. Showers are $0.25 (for 2 minutes?? Im not 100%) and no one would notice you using them and not saying.

The stick is still there 🙂, we just had to pay 10$ to have access to the beach and then we showered and used the dump station!

Report Check-In

As described. $10 entry, $10 dump, water is free. We were going to stay for the day, but there was no more parking, so ended up leaving

Report Check-In

Worth the $10 to fill up, then I left lol nothing impressive, but good drinking water.

Very nice beach. The sound of the waves and the wind on a nice day is pretty incredible. $35 / night. Good cell (Verizon).

Costs 10$ to park by the beach for the day, costs an additional 10$ to use sani dump. If you only want a water fill then it’s free with the admittance day parking fee. No dogs allowed on beach. Showers are operated by quarters, but they refuse to give change to break bills. 1.25$ for 5 minutes if you have your own quarters. Wouldn’t recommend as there’s lots of free places to park to enjoy the ocean, unless you’re desperate for a water fill

You can only use the dump station if you pay the day use fee. It costs 10$ to enter day use area and an additional 10$ by credit card to use dump station. However, when we showed up, we paid the day use fee and the dump station had a stick blocking the hole so you did not have to pay.. lucky day for us. Potable Water is available at the dump station.

I wouldn't recommend it here for anything more than to park and fill water (you can dump too) for $10 for the entire day. It's right on the beach and while dogs aren't allowed on this particular beach, the path where they are allowed is miles long and gorgeous.

However, you have to pick your campsite before you enter and you're not allowed to change it unless you want to cancel and repay the expensive $35-$50 again. I ended up directly across from a huge group of 10-12 people who are screaming, smoking cigarettes, pouring gallons of lighter fluid on the bbq (I'm not exaggerating, I watched him pour a gallon on & it was the second time), and blasting country music. My entire van (hell, this half of the campsite) stinks of lighter fluid, smoke and cigarettes. I went up front to talk to the people working here and there's nothing they can do.

I'm no campsite expert but in the several I've stayed at before, I've never had this issue.

The spaces here are much too close!! And the people seem quite inconsiderate. 🥵

they do not have dump and water access for anyone who is not a registered camping guest. We were pointed towards Pelican RV down the street.

I arrive 9pm and knocked on the administration RV door to pay the $10.

Report Check-In

10$ for Day used.
+10$ for dump station and water.

Great place to stop for some chilling at the beach+shower_dumping+refeelinf in water. 10$ super cheap for all this in Cali.

Great place to stay if you can get in! We were here early, waited in line and got a spot, yay! It’s an okay campground but an awesome area which makes it worthwhile. Love the walk/bike trail and that wonderful beach goes for miles. We had to take a spot with electric, $50. Non electric $35 and beach spots are $65. What we don’t like is the price, not a lot of shade and filthy bathrooms and showers that smell like pee!

Report Check-In

Just as described $10 for the day use! We dumped, filled our water tank, and parked and hung for a bit. Good spot

Nice spot with beach access, coin operated showers, drinking water fill and a dump station. The park also has a campground with full hookups. The day-use fee is $10 and is good until sunset, this gives you access to the water fill, hot showers and flush toilets. The showers are coin operated, $1.25 for 5 minutes. The dump station is typically only for the campground, but the friendly staff sometimes make exceptions. Great spot to spend the day!

Report Check-In

As described. Showers could be a bit cleaner but it was ok. You get 2min for 50 cents.
