Ben is a good guy. He wanted 3000KSh, we negotiate 2000KSh for 3 people.
Clean facilities but very basic

basic camp. Ben wanted 3000 a night for 2 after quick negotiations we paid 1000 a night for 2. the big advantage is to be at the gate of the park and be able to start the hike very early

Good place to camp. We paid 1500 shillings for 2 people. He wanted 3000 to start with. Bens really nice and has chickens and a cow running around. Toilets are not that nice, had bucket shower in one of the cabins.

Nice but basic campsite. Very good option if you want to have an early start hiking the mount longonot. Just a 5 min walk to the entrance!
Prices seem to be negotiable. We ended up paying 500 pppn for camping/ 1000 for a wooden hut. No running water, electricity only in some huts.
No restaurant or shop at the campsite, but right next to the entrance of the national park there are some local restaurants and small shops.
Hardly any visitors here apart from some bigger tour groups every once in a while. Gate to the camping is usually locked so better to call in advance.

we stayed for one night! paid 1000 for 2 person! Basic toilet, nice owner offered a shower after hiking mount longonot! there is no sign, when you are coming from np gate first left (see photo )
