Something not right?

Description

Had to talk to manager to get permission to stay but she was totally cool with it, just wanted us to park away from the gas station. Parked overnight for one night, some traffic noise but quieter after store closed at 8:30. Apparently there is a security person around until 11pm. No issues though, good level place to stay overnight.

Latest Check-Ins

Arrived before the store closed and settled in my RV. After an hour later, found out my best bike in my family's behind RV was stolen and other ones were lying on the ground. The city scared me and then drove south to the Bear River casino.

Report Check-In

Asked an employee about staying overnight in the lot in my camper van. She said yes. Told me to park by the fence and be gone by 9am.

Report Check-In

Called the admin desk and got the okay to stay the night. This is a rough part of town so there was a lot of noise at night. Stayed over by Sequoia Park and it was quieter.

Report Check-In

we arrived after the store was closed (on a saturday around 7pm), so we had no one to ask (we don’t personally have Costco Memberships, so i don’t know if they would have asked to see an ID or not). we just pulled towards the back fence away from the loading dock/storefront/gas and no one bothered us. i don’t think anyone else was camping there. just a few random cars scattered about the lot. we left by 8:30am, to make sure we were out of there before the store opened at 10am. this town feels very rough and sketchy, but it was quiet and we felt safe enough for one quick night. full 4 bars of at&t and verizon!!

Report Check-In

I arrived at 9:30p. There weren't any costco employees to ask. There were several (at least 6) vans parked along the back wall, so I parked in between 2 other vans.
Verizon service is intermittent

Report Check-In

As described,
Very nice friendly staff, guided me to a very leveled spot

Report Check-In

Felt safe staying here. We are in our RV and didn’t even have to ask the manager to stay. Just asked our Cashier and she said yes of course! Stayed away from gas station as per everyone else’s recommendations!

Report Check-In

people wandering around even at 730pm. didn't feel safe so I left.

Report Check-In

We asked to stay the night and they were very nice about it. Not the quietest spot, but it felt very safe.

Report Check-In

Just like everyone says, they allow people to stay overnight, just ask to park in the farthest corner. Sweet lady at the front just told me to speak to the manager but couldn’t find him so spoke to another gentleman and he said no problem just as long as I’m gone when they open. Keep it clean!

Report Check-In

Parked in NE corner of lot for two nights in a row, leaving during store hours. I felt safe, nobody bothered me.

Report Check-In

Pulled in late and stayed in the NE corner. No issues at all. There was another van and a larger motor home already posted up when we pulled in.

Report Check-In

Spoke with manager to get approval, very friendly and just specified that we park in the NE corner of the lot.

Report Check-In

Spent the night here in the back of the lot without issue. Showed up late so didn't ask permission. Filled gas and shopped in the morning. Decently quiet area.

Report Check-In

So surprised Costco actually allow overnight parking here. We arrived at 5pm, bought a few things we needed and filled-up. An employee told us to park furthest from store so we parked closer to the road.

Report Check-In

Currently the only one here (8pm). There’s other cars but they’re just sedans. Put my membership card on the dash just in case, will update in the morning :)

Report Check-In

I've been here just to sleep in my car. I arrived at 1:00a.m and there was only one car more.
Big parking with a lot of space.

Report Check-In

I called and they said no problem to park here, just to be by the gas station rather than the store entrance. It was pretty clean and level, but there was a decent amount of noise until about 11pm. Seemed to be a place where people hung out after dark. We saw one individual walking around the cart corrals looking for something and kind of meandered around the lot for about 15 minutes. Not the greatest night of sleep since there was only one other RV there. Had there been more we would have felt more comfortable probably.

Report Check-In

Went in to ask permission to stay and the manager (male) was very nice and surprisingly grateful that I asked. Apparently some of us just park here without asking. Anyway, they were cool with it so I am glad I asked. Respect.

Report Check-In

Asked the manager and he said it was cool, a couple other rigs here and maybe a dozen parked on the street behind Costco. Friendly staff and clean location. Please don’t trash the place or we won’t get to stay overnight anymore, seen a few people acting crazy.

Report Check-In

There were a few other people around and some noise earlier in the night, but ultimately no one bothered us. Got there too late to ask the manager permission.

Report Check-In

I’m just so glad to be a Costco member, after I’ve done my shopping, I check with the front desk and manager was totally fine for us to stay overnight just park away from gas station and the building. Nice and quiet. Not the safest town but here feel totally safe. parking lot Lights were turned off Sunday night at 9:30 when I was staying.

Report Check-In

Talked to Manager. Immediately told us it was okay to park up against the edge of the lot. We parked by the loading dock to feel safer that employees were around. Slight noise from trucks but felt very safe.

Report Check-In

We called ahead and asked if they allowed overnight parking. They said yes as long as we have a Costco membership and stayed on the outside perimeter of the lot. No one came to check for a membership. We made the mistake of staying by the back loading dock which was very active throughout the night. I would recommend just staying on the other side of the lot or on the street next to Costco (Railroad Ave). Felt safe here.

Report Check-In

Parked up here for the night and decided to ask a manager like the person did before but she wasn’t very nice and said that we have to purchase something in Costco, as we don’t already have a Costco, that wouldn’t be an affordable option. We decided to leave the car there anyway and walk into old town, realising the area seems quite dodgy and didn’t feel too safe to park elsewhere in our car. Ended up having to get a motel for the night. If you can, I’d suggest to skip Eureka as an overnight stop.
