Latest Check-Ins

Great amenities, clean ablutions, swimming pool, each spot has a PowerPoint and shade, sites can be slightly uneven but there are rocks and planks to level your vehicle. Location is off the beaten track and Google maps won't take you there, so make sure you contact Jeff before arrival and he'll give you an approach description. 250R (2 people, one night)

Report Check-In

A selection of stands available, some with electricity and with taps scattered around. Most stands aren't level and we took some time to level the camper.

Clean but basic ablutions and nice views of the surrounding area to drink your coffee to. Sporadic MTN 3G signal only.

We paid R200 per night for two people in a camper.

As described by others with nice pool, funky tortoise house, friendly owner Jeff. Electricity comes from solar power so connections cannot handle high wattage items like kettles, hair driers or microwaves. Stands a bit small and uneven and cannot accommodate a roof top tent or high roof camper under their lapas. Good value at R180 pn for 2 camping.

Lovely eco resort with solar power. Small campsite mostly geared towards tent campers with shade net on some sites. Swimming pool at camp are with braai. Nice clean ablutions. Chalets with hot tub and heated swimming pool.No wifi and MTN signal ok. Beautiful views over the valley and mountains.

Nice place, friendly owner. Hobbit house and back to basics chalet also available, soon a glamping option in the shape of a tortoise will be ready. 90 rand pppn camping. Clean pool and ablutions. Nice view with the mountains around.

Report Check-In

Lovely, peaceful location away from any main roads (turn off 2km before De Rust). We were the only campers midweek, so had the ablutions and pool/braai area to ourselves.
Designated camping areas are very small, some not flat surfaces, most have a shade covered area which limits your space for set-up of big rigs, rooftop tents or caravans. We chose the only one which doesn't have a shade cover to just fit our camping trailer in nicely (Eclipse campsite). Very good price of R200 for night for 2 adults, 2 kids.

Incredible place and very helpful owners, children for free

Nothing much to add, it is really nice and quiet here, we like the Karoo spirit here!

Report Check-In

Great location, hard to find because a farmer blocked the road when we used google maps.
Take the exit Die Gat or Middelplaas and follow the brown signs.
Now go for a swim!
