Very nice campsite 500 meter from N 12. 10 km south from Britstown. 2 places with private ablutions. Also self-catering cottages available.

Completely agree with all the comments. Definitely one of the best campsites we had in SA, by far ! Definetly text them on WhatsApp before showing up. Number is down below comments.
Report Check-InThis is a great place to stay. Camping areas are very private. Confirm all the comments below. Specially enjoyed the private ablutions and kitchenette. Andre is a very kind and helpful man and we enjoyed meeting him. The trees and garden and surroundings are very pleasant.
Report Check-InVery nice place. Nearly to good for just a stopover. One could spend a couple of days here. Nice farm style swimming pond to wash of that road dust. Could even try some pomegranate, the best we had so far. Surprising quite even it is not far away from the road.
Report Check-Inlovely and quiet campsite with private ablutions and kitchen. hot shower with gas, electricity, gas kitchen, braai, lights, shadow. beautiful environment with a lot of trees and birds. nice owners. small dam perfect to refresh and swim. playground for kids. free and fadr wifi not at the campsite but near the main house.
350 for 2 people and 1 car.

If passing Bristown you will really enjoy a stay at Rooidam Citrages and campground. the private ablutions are well designed complete with a gas cooker and
kettle. Andre and Bouguet are excellent hosts and ensure you have a lovely stay...the chalets and family
cottage is also an alternative...You won't be disappointed...
Very nice campsites with own small house ablution (kitchen and bathroom).
Andre and Bonquet are lovely and always happy to make a short visit of their farm.
We could also pick up lemons, oranges and soft citrus.
They do have great cottages but we did stay at the private campsite.
350R for two people and the car is a fair price for this small paradise in the area.

Rooidam is a gem of a camping spot all by itself in a little oasis and owned by sheep farmers Andre & his wife Bonquet who are so kind and welcoming. The three sites with their own timber ablutions are outstanding and the experience of camping amongst the orange and lemon trees and the prickly pears looking out over the veldt is special. They can supply firewood and excellent Karoo lamp & boerewors (sausage) for the braai. For entry from the main road phone the number on the gate and Andre will sms you a code to open the gate.,
Report Check-InGreat 1 night stopover when traveling.... 3 campsites all with their own superb ablutions..... spotless, well decorated and hot showers. Great hosts. paid R250 for single person camping. Also have nice self catering chalets- didn't enquire about the price.
Report Check-InAn amazing place to stay with a private ablution and kitchen! We spend here one night for R300 and had a nice talk with the owner about farming, raining this rear and travelling. He is very kind and friendly. You can swim in their small dam to cool down and in the night you have a 1000 stars hotel😊.

Report Check-InWow what amazing place we spend here one night and shared one campsite with my parents and the owner is just amazing there is even a small swimming dam and the farm is extremely well and natural build. Facilities spotless. Go here and try to get the spot next to the cactuses. You won’t believe your view in the night and mornings. A little oases in the semi dessert! Go go go.
