I camped at the park in mid September. It's a huge park with no lack of sites. There are beaches on the lake, and some trails. The terrain is pretty flat though. The sites are well spaced. The downside is that the facilities are old and not well kept and not clean.

Report Check-InVery large and fairly touristy campground. Family oriented, loud, many daytimers visit the beach at the visitors centers in the weekend. I was here in a Sunday - Bad Luck. Half the Campsite was still closed due to the floods of the last months. So I had to pay a full service site, even though I was only there with a tent. No negotiation possible.
