Good spot, super quiet, plenty of space, incredible stargazing, 3G Claro, far enough from the road to be invisible at night
Report Check-InDefinitely a good spot on your way to Cusco or vice versa. Just bear in mind it is a little short of 4000m above sea level. So if you have trouble with high altitude then you might want to try and get a little lower. We got 4g Claro where we were parked.
Report Check-InNice, quiet and safe place to spend the night, away from the road where nobody can see or bother us.
Report Check-InGreat overnight spot next to the river. Some houses visible in the distance, but invisible from the road. We had a quiet night and felt safe. The sandy spot next to the river was hard enough to drive and stand on when we were there.
Report Check-InGreat place between Cuzco and Arequipa. We didn’t go all the way down to the river, since it’s sandy. But parked under the electricity pole. Quiet all night long. But cold.
