Easy paved parking lot but guarded. At the Centro Turistico El Mirador in Catarina Price: $0.70 USD / 20 Cordobas for cars.

Great place to stop and enjoy the cool breeze and amazing view. Cost was $40 C for a 25' Class C. Security guard walking around. Nice break with drinks and icecream, would be perfect for an overnight but we can't stay. Not busy on a Monday. No size restrictions, parked here in a 25' Class C. Ended up leaving early as the local kids started using the rig for target practice with rocks.

Nuit tranquille, fraiche et sans trop de bruit. La vue est superbe, impossible pour nous d'acceder au lac.

Report Check-InWe don't camped here but seems to be a safe place for overnight. We came to visit very early in the morning and don't pay the entrance, but is very cheap. 20 cordobas.
Report Check-InFor the cost of entry to the parking lot/mirador (20 Cordobas / $0.70 USD per vehicle), we camped in the large parking lot. The night guard let us plug in to the building he hangs out in and opened the locked bathrooms for us at night. Close to restaurants and a relatively busy place until late. Good for a quick one-night stop.

Report Check-InParking, surrounded by souvenir stalls and restaurants. No space to hang out around the car (and not in the car neither because of the heat). Nice hikes at the Mirador. Quite noisy until late at night. Public toilets.
