Resort Praia Kassamba | Established Campground

At the painted sign Praia, Kisamaba turn right.
They have open from Thursday - Sunday if you like to stay at a cabin or Restaurant.
At low tide you have to walk over the rocks to the sea.

We stayed here for two nights, we loved the spot, the resort was closed for maintenance, so we parked directly in front of it on the beach palm trees, the gardian opened the bathroom for us and we could use the restaurant area for working or chilling, the sunsets are amazing here.

The beach is very nice for swimming, good temperature water and not very strong currents.

We suggest to not park up in the parking but go down and park in the grass area in front of the beach.

We used the water from them for showrs and laundry and even washing the car little ( the water was little brown )

We gave the gard a tip of 2k for keeping care and being super friendly

We visited off season, so no guests there. Met by a friendly security chap who opened up the toilets for us. Beautiful location with a fantastic sunset. Worth a stopover.

all previous comments are accurate, this is indeed a beautiful place to stay!!! I just want to add that the restaurant is open Saturday-Sunday, but the food was really not great... for 6000kz we had a very oily fish with cold plantains and cold potatoes... nothing tasty! however the staff is really friendly so you can spend your money in drinks, but I would definitely avoid eating here

Very nice people, we could stay for free with access to shower and toilets. A wonderful sunset and a quiet night. Very bad 3G (Unitel).

Beautiful beach camp, stayed mid week for free but gave guard who opened the nice toilet for us a tip. Plenty of flat space. Water tap and cold water outside shower on site. Fantastic beach walks.

Nice clean and quiet beach. We spend here one night and charged our electric car with our solar panels we could lay out on the beach.

The view is amazing, no locals only the guard who provided us entrance to the toilet and shower.

It is nice to walk along the beach to the cliffs. We even spotted several big turtles in the see.

Very nice place to spend the night. A guard immediately welcomed us, the resort being closed. He immediately understood that we wanted to sleep here and told us how to get to the beach. Please note that he only speaks Portuguese! Once installed, he came to see us to show us the shower and the toilets available to us for free. Really nice ! We can even charge our phone thanks to a socket on a tree. The guard turned on floodlights so that we had light while we ate and went to bed. We were able to observe several turtles swimming very close to the beach, in the cove behind the line of rocks. Really a great bivouac spot! Too bad the storm kept us from sleeping 😅

Came late, stayed for one night at this beautiful spot. Calm and lonely. Guard opened toilet and shower. No money asked.

Amazing white sand beach. Nice sunset. Beautiful walks on the beach with cliffs at the end. We arrived wednesday so the resort was closed but the friendly garden keeper opened us a toilet and we could use the outside cold shower. Perfect place to relax.We stayed 3 nights for free.

Beatiful and surprising place with great beach and good parking place. Follow small lndication of PRAIA KISSAMBA in right side direction Luanda. About 3 km of very easy dirt road to reach the beach. Restaurant and bungalows open only on saturday and sunday. Very clean beach. Service staff friendly and helpful. Impressive sunset. All for free!. A great surprise in our african Journey

Restaurant open Sat and Sun only and very quiet other days. We had a meal which was nice, beers cold and 400 kw for a cuca. Resto staff super friendly but beware the complementary fish starters that are only free if you don’t eat them otherwise cost more than a beer each!!

Spotted many turtles feeding on the rocks in the waves. None nesting sadly.

Beautiful spot.

Really nice place to camp directly at the beach. The restaurant was closed, but you can use shower and toilets. There are few guys around who take care of the facilities, nice and helpful. But speaking only Portuguese.

Praia Kissamba is nice but not outstanding. The beach looks nice but is dirty, but in Angola everywhere is rubbish. The sea is more grey/brown than blue, BUT it is a nice place for a rest or a night. Better than many other places. The people are friendly and helpful. We got water for our tanks for free.

We stayed under a roofed structure (we think it's a preliminary structure for something else to come) for two nights. The owner was happy for us to camp for free as long as we had something from the restaurant. The food was delicious and we had a lovely stay. Had some great fishing as well.

In this resort I was able to pitch the tent for free (!), restaurant available and food more pricy but wonderful location. Shower and toilets. They also rent bungalows.
