Really nice place, if the people would not be there. Crowded in summer. The view is fantastic and the place is big. For us just for one night, because we needed a place, but we don’t like campgrounds, therefore we don’t like this place. One camper near the next one.

Dispersed camping in Bridger-Teton NF. Free. Must be in designated areas

Site 20 is a gem of a spot. Absolutely amazing view of the tetons. Wide open area for more than one car. Fire pit by some trees and beautiful wildflowers surrounding. Road getting here isn’t too bad, don’t need 4x4 but it is a little rough in some spots. All in all 10/10!
Forest service/camp host couple came by and we’re very friendly and just came to check in to make sure everyone is safe right around sunset. They even gave us some carabiners and temporary tattoos!
FYI- mosquitos were pretty bad. Even with bug spray. But the vibes were worth it.

Stayed for a few days and found a nice spot with a view! Rough road but we made it in our Toyota Yaris hatchback.

This was tricky to get into with our low clearance camper, but If it's dry and you take it slow it should be okay. It is a little confusing that it is only permissible to park at designated campsites, but this clearing has half a dozen fire pits for this one campsite number... not sure what to say about that. And the mosquitoes were pretty bad in early June. Gorgeous area though.

Great place to stay outside the national park and its for free. We woke up in snow but with perfect mountain views. Many fire wood and fire rings around. We recommend it.

in the end the final little stretch of road was too treacherous for my tiny little 2wd low clearance car! the good news is that there are designated car camping spots Everywhere along the road

THE WORST mosquitoes I have EVER encountered. Camper beware!

Report Check-In

Beautiful location, but rather crowded. Driving in required patience and maneuvering in a low-clearance 2WD. Driving out after a night of heavy rains was difficult, and required some skill to not get stuck in the mud. Some intermittent cell signal.
