As described by others. this is an old POW camp, where you can now camp :) this marker is in the main spot. it's got room for a number of vehicles and groups. I stayed to the west of this area, in a smaller clearing, as a couple of other people already had spots, and I wanted some privacy. there is also another spot a few hundred yards further down the road. it dips down a bit and I would recommend a larger rig here, but drove down it in my Nissan NV2500 with no issues. I had a nice quiet ecen and slept well. definitely worth it and about 10 minutes from some bike trails, which you can also do an overnight at.
Report Check-InLarge and flat space. We spent a very quiet night. There is unfortunately a bit of litter all around 😕
Report Check-InSeveral campsites around the lake and forest roads nearby. Maybe 4-5 campers altogether. Trash, but cleaner than when we arrived. Clear and cold overnight.
