small campground, free for 3 days. there's no established sites, but there's lots of room to spread out, but very little privacy. bathrooms were closed.

Report Check-In

Quaint little campground by a creek. Expect lots of gnats and skeeters during warm weather. Mostly locals during the day, excellent fishing spot. Loud music from the pavilion across the creek at night, but couldn't hear it inside my rig. Active wildlife area – guard your trash, or you might wake up to racoons wreaking havoc!

Report Check-In

Nice roadside park. On a small dam. Picnic table and garbage cans. You can camp on both sides of bridge. Fairly clean. Going to do a litter pickup shortly just to help maintain the site. Would definitely stop to stay overnight again.
Okay for trailers and smaller rigs.

Report Check-In

Apparently before COVID this was a thriving place with RV spots and a pavilion. Now the pavilion is locked. The RV sites are still there each with a picnic table, trash and barbecues. There are pit toilets. The pond is stocked with trout so there are people fishing. There was some trash around. Please leave no trace.

This place looks decent - trash cans, washrooms (didn’t check them out though), picnic tables. However, we pulled in in the evening and cats very quickly descended on us looking for food. Wasn’t our cup of tea and we left first thing in the morning. There are lots of spots and we were the only ones there though. Road noise isn’t too noticeable overnight.

Great local campground and swimming hole, amazingly free! I arrived late on a Saturday to find a lot of the park (big enough for at least a dozen rigs) crowded with party people. Not my scene, so I moseyed NW to the spot under the trees, which was truly peaceful.

Report Check-In

Found a great spot for the night. No one here but me. The sign says I can stay here for 3 nights if I wanted to. And it is free

Report Check-In

Great spot! Woke up to birds chirping - picnic tables and a bathroom. Not much trash. Only one other car here, a pickup in bad condition (broken down?) on one side of the river, haven't seen anyone come into the park all night. Some road noise but not bad. would stay again

Report Check-In

For tents or car/Van camping... Just about any RV would have a hard time with low hanging trees... The Version is week to non existence inside the van but barely accessible outside... Also the terrain is a little hard to find a level spot... Lots of ducks and one mean goose... It is very dry and there are fires nearby so I would not recommend any open fire 🔥

Got in when it was dark last night. Beautiful sunrise.great Verizon service. Picnic tables and trash cans at every sight. Quiet overnight. Great views of river.

Report Check-In

Legit spot. You can camp on both sides
Of the River. Roadnoise is loud during the day. We had lunch here , and my dog played in the water .

Report Check-In

The park has reopened post covid-19. The previous description is still accurate.

Report Check-In

Closed for COVID-19. We were a bit surprised by this since most of Texas seems to be open (restaurants are allowing dine-in service, gyms are open, and most people have stopped wearing masks). This place looks really beautiful. Hopefully it will be open again soon. If you arrive and it is open, please comment.
THANKS!

Pretty dumpy park. It is on the river, there are picnic tables at each spot. Supposedly a 3 day limit but there is definitely a homeless population here. The bathroom leaves much to be desired; it’s a small metal shack. Fine for a night if you’re just passing through.

Report Check-In

great spot to camp on the water. 2 bars with Verizon. so it's a great spot to camp for 3 days

Report Check-In

Très beau et chaud propre toilettes bbq tables de pique-nique. Bon pour 3 nuits.

Report Check-In
