Stopped in for one night. At first blush, great place with a nice view. However, lots of traffic rolling thru at all hours. At around 10pm, one car in particular came cruising in and almost hit my van (I was tucked in a parking spot near some boulders). This person ended up driving towards the pavilion and got hung up on a parking curb. Not sure if they were drunk; but it was a bad vibe and I left. Call made to the local authorities. Doubt that person got unstuck without some assistance…

Great little park by the lake! Stopped here for one night and was the only person. There’s bathrooms as well.

good spot, stayed 2 nights. however when I left, I stopped at the southern end of the lake and found another boondocking area that's much nicer. this one here is wide open, so anyone from anywhere will see you. the lake isn't too pretty and the trash is bad. I'd say at the other one.

Spent a quiet night in our Class B overlooking the lake. Could not find designated campsites? We stayed in first parking lot on left closest to sand volleyball court. Good cell reception with ATT

Pretty awesome. Trash issue is overstated. Shower not working. Pit toilets. Pretty darn awesome place.

Good spot, beautiful lake. Not many clearly defined areas to camp but I figure you can set up just about anywhere. I stayed at the short loop along the water just passed the pavilion. Camped in a passenger car

Nice little spot very windy, has washrooms and picnic tables, another camper here with us sign says 48 hr stays permitted.

lots of trash :( not sure where to camp as signs are a little confusing. ended up in the dirt patch right on the lake and another couple came with a trailer stayed with us. not bad spot, picked up some trash when we left, but hardly made a dent.

First parking lot on the left when you pull in! We went to the second one, but there were signs saying day use only. So we back to the first parking lot and there were no such signs. 48hr limit is all. We stayed one night and we were the only ones there. Verizon reception was ok.

Still just as others have described. Park is small, ungated, and unattended. I showed up after dark on a Sunday night and all 4 campsites were available, I parked at the one right on the water. No disturbances at night, lake was beautiful in the morning.

Parked our 32 foot Class A right up within 20 feet of the water, leveled out, had dinner, drinks and a nice quiet night. Didn't need or use any of the facilities.....we like free....

This is a large family park where locals come to swim, play, camp, picnic, fish, and play beach volleyball. A large green area is available to set up tents, and there is ample parking space if you sleep in a camper. The bathrooms are not much better than an outhouse, despite the flush toilets. The women's bathroom didn't have stall doors and there was no garbage bin so women took to throwing their used tampons and pads and garbage on the floor by the toilet.
The playground for kids is large. Each picnic table had a trash can and a wood/charcoal BBQ. There was a beach volleyball net. Overall this could be a great site, but it was REALLY busy on Memorial Day weekend so we camped just down the road at the newly added iOverlander "picnic area" spot and had the place to ourselves.
