Description

free parking spots in this and many streets north of the 75th (much nicer and quieter there actually where we spent the next night) and the 5th avenue facing central park. It was quite noisy til 1am due to being in front of a small playground within a residence where kids and adults stayed up late (spaces in the middle of the street would have been quieter). Just look at the street cleaning hours although it's good to know there is free parking in all NYC on Sundays at all meters parking spaces. Toilets at central park are minutes away (closed during the night and until 7/8am)with some drinkable water available at the entrance of the park. Safety wise it was low/average, lower streets are much better. The way from connecticut was effortless although a bit stressful with our van being 2.7m high, we passed on the car passengers lane without any problems clearance wise despite all warnings.
