Something not right?

Description

We asked people at "East Jesus" which spot would be best for us to stay overnight and they advised us to come here. It is next to the hot springs where locals shower (clothes optional) and there is a huge empty flat place where rigs of any size can make it. The train tracks not far from here can get busy even during the night but it kind of adds to the "charm" of overnighting in slab city. The best rooms here even have views on both the Salvation mountain and Salton sea.

look, I just have to let anyone unfamiliar know about the hotspring.

you do not want to go in the hotspring. You might see locals going in. They might encourage you even to go in. But they're literally crazy so don't be persuade.

bodies are occasionally found in there, body PARTS are found in there, human turds floating at the surface, human fetuses, dead animals..and more. Don't do it.

Slab city is awesome! Don’t let negative reviews give you a bad taste.
This area is great you are next to the hot springs (which are 106 degrees) and a great view of salvation mountain. The only negative is the neighbors dogs start barking early just after sunrise. But if that bothers you just park further away.
You can stay anywhere in Slab City for free but if that makes you feel unsafe there are also spots you can pay to park.
