We spent one night here, it felt safe specially near George hotel (you receive their WIFI from here so maybe worth getting something at their bar to get the wifi from the sleeping point). There was little traffic throughout the night and until 7:30am. There is a big parking lot behind the sop "yet mail" which could work as well including for bigger rigs, not sure if private.
