A free municipal camping. Right on a beautiful Lake and view of the mountains. Fire pit and grass pastures, beautiful setting. Very quiet.

Nice free spot on way to West Yellowstone. Bugs are definitely here. Quite on lake we stayed more towards the end of the loop. Less bugs than by the water. Clean pit toilet. AT&T is 5G

Pit toilet is nice.
Pulled in late Monday night, 3 or 4 other folks here. Campsites are in good shape. Closer together than we usually go for but overall a nice spot and it’s free. A Moose curled up behind our site too so keep that in mind.

Report Check-InArrived in the dark on a Sunday, still a few spots left. In the morning the views over the lake were amazing! The bugs however were crazy. We had 100's of bugs in our camper after opening the door for a second.

When the wind is still it is a lovely spot.
Not too many mosquitoes this time of year but plenty of other bugs. Saw a beaver and pelican.
So beautiful, intimate and peaceful!! We will be back for sure!
Report Check-InGreat spot! Still very accessible in November and it was just myself and one other rig. Pit toilet was still open too. Seems like site would be accessible through the winter.

Report Check-InNice place. No water at campground. Quiet. Spotted a moose and deer at bedtime. No trash so be prepared to pack it out. Limited RV spots. Probably space to put a tent anywhere.
Report Check-InNice FREE campsite. stayed here for a night coming from west Yellowstone heading to Washington state. Has about 10 sites, pit toilet, picnic table, fire ring, and good cell reception. Right along side the water and makes for a nice view. I brought my dog and there is a good spot in the middle for them to run around and play. I wouldn’t swim in the water there were signs in the bulletin mentioning algae blooms, and burrowing critters so just make sure you and your pets enjoy the lake form a distance. Most importantly felt safe. Can stay here free for up to 5 nights.
Report Check-InA great little camp ground with nice wide open spaces, views of the lake and mountains and you can park right on the lake side. Very windy in afternoons is the only downside to this location. Very nice camp ground
