Beautiful campsite. Brenda and her daughter are very nice. Make reservation if you want to eat. Don’t follow google maps.

Stayed here for 1 night. Brenda is really nice. $10 or 35k ugx. Leopard, lion, and baboons on site. Camped near a chalet to use the toilets, solar power hot shower!. Overlooking park. Easier to get here via road leading to east entrance then south gate. Tsesee flies bad on way in so close yr windows but OK at camp. You cannot light a fire next to chalet due to thatched roofs but a pit fire available near the house

Awesome views to the Kidepo Valley and over to South Sudan. We camped beside one of the bandas (nr.4) and could use its warm shower and toilet. $10/pppn (as this is outside the park). We stayed here for 3 nights before going to the park. Owner Brenda is nice and an interesting person to chat with. Highly recommend this place if you’re going into/from Kidepo NP. The better road here goes from the NP gate, the one that maps.me shows (and what we used) was pretty grown up and sometimes not passable if it has rained.

Report Check-In

The entrance is from the Kaabong Kaernga road, there is a small sign. About 3 km, The way quite narrow to the truck and we had to cut some trees. 10$ pppn. The disadvantage of camping here is if you want to have a game drive, it cost about 60$ for transportation to the reserve. Good MTN signal
