Brazil
Nice place but very expensive. They asked for 150 Reais for 2 person and the van per night. At the end we payed 100. Lunch and dinner are 45, but for 1 beer (0,33 l) we payed 40 Reais.
Very nice location a couple km away from the main road. The Pousada has rooms to rent, a pool, bikes, a good library and fast wifi. They organise tours if you like. Very quiet. Not so many mosquitos as in the flats of Pantanal. Access from BR262 at km 547. Signposted. You may need open the large gate.

3km de estrada de terra mas bem tranquilo para nosso trailer
Excelente lugar com piscina! Não estavam abertos mas nos deixaram ficar mesmo assim!
Agua e tomada disponíveis
Report Check-InLooks like a really nice place but it was too expensive for us. They asked for 90pp for camping with two motorcycles.
Report Check-InSince April 2018 the Ranch Meia Lua has new owners. The new team is very effcient and very friendly. The site as well as the bungalows which can be rented are spotless clean, a very pleasant spot to relax.
Report Check-InWas closed. We couldn’t find out why. Only Portuguese speaking lady. It’ strange as it’s high season

Report Check-InLinda fazenda, nos atenderam muito bem. Tudo muito limpo e organizado. Lugar ideal para descansar e apreciar natureza, muitos pássaros e um por do sol lindo! 40 reais a diária.
Report Check-InWe stayed here the first time about a week before when we paid $R40 pppn. When we returned the second time at around 5PM they wanted to charge us half a day because we left the place at noon. After some arguing they agreed to pay $R100 for the night(2 pers). If we knew this before we would have left earlier. Didn't like that they didn't informed us. Felt expensive after this experience. More expensive than a hotel.
Report Check-Invery good place to start your visit of the South Pantanal. We had lots of toucans every morning, two times anteaters and one time a tapir sitting in a little lake. Very friendly staff. Hot shower and toilette at the poolbar. We paid 80 Reales for 2 Persons with a motorhome.
Report Check-InA little paradise in South-Pantanal. Mainly Hotel, but space for campervans. Pool, horse-riding (2 h for 80), many birds and 2 different Tukans every day. Really nice, 80 BRS per day with Van and 2 Pax. Worth it. Buffet Restaurant, if you like, Dinner 35 pP. Quiet.
Report Check-InNice place with friendly people, there's now 1 person that speaks English. We camped here for 80reais for 2 persons per night.
Report Check-InA small pouzada with pool and a simple restaurant. There is space for campers and cars. You will be surrouded by Toucans, Parrots, Ibis and all kind of birds even wild austriches... very peaceful and relaxing place. The access road is 3 km of dirt road, but manageable. The new management does only speak portuguese, but are extremly friendly and helpful. We paid 40 reales per night for 2 pax and motorhome ,including electricity and water. Meals are 35R lunch or dinner, we had dinner, buffet style it was good and fresh. Would highly recomend this place! By the way not too many mosquitos.
Report Check-InGorgeous place (once you are down the 3 km long driveway). We don't speak Portuguese but managed fine. 60 pp pn inc electricity is a bit much especially when there's only one shower/loo which you also share with people in cabins when they've been in the pool & people returning from riding etc. Showed them that people paid 70 pn last year and they agreed to that eventually. People who ate here were not that impressed by the food. Actual coordinates for gate are S -20.288720 W-56.289828
Report Check-InThe Ranch is no longer runned by the former swiss owner and looked a bit deserted. You can still camp here but you better speak Portugese. We moved on to Miranda and found the travel agency of the former owner Marcello where we camped in front of his house. Very nice people there.
Report Check-InA nice fazenda with many tucans on the trees. We paid 70BRL (20€) to camp with our Defender. Lunch and diner can be served for 30BRL per person each meal; pretty good. We didn't try breakfast. Other overlanders from France and Germany in this place; but just one bathroom avalaible for campers. Slow wi fi.
Report Check-InFriendly, well maintained pousada in a parklike settting. Very relaxing. Hot showers, electricity, swimming pool, hammocks. Well designed and built by the Swiss owner. The manager Kellen is very friendly and helpful. She took us on a free bush walk and invited us for a free barbecue with her family. When we left she gave us a bunch of bananas. We intended to stay one night, but did stay three. Highly recommended! BRL 70 (2 adults, camper).
