Camping is now on the paved boat ramp or in front of cottages...
750 per person. But pricing seems very random

Beautiful lake/view but overpriced and no privacy and not accommodating to camping other then a parking spot.

Nice restaurant to see (don't know how the food is) and nice swimming pool

Ablutions in a cottage

The campsite was full with students but they let us camp close to the lodge. So friendly and accommodating, they even opened up a room that was free so that we didn’t have to walk as far to the showers. Very nice view of the lake, windy at night. We paid 1400 meticals for two people and there was a 200 meticals ‘park fee’ at the gate

beautiful campsite on the lake. Rooms are also available. The ablutions have recently been renewed. Beautiful swimming pool with a view over the lake. There are giraffes, zebras and several other animals. The restaurant has good food and friendly service. An early breakfast can be made on request. We meet the owner Peter at the border. He helped us very well there. Very friendly and helpful, someone we won't soon forget.

Beautifully located lodge right next to the lake. Perfectly quiet at night.
We haven't seen the campsite but according to the owner, Peter, it is in terrible condition. Let us park in between the rondavels and use a bathroom there.
Price is 720 pppn and you get back the 200 pp which you pay when you enter the property. You get a receipt for your entry fee at the gate which you have to hand in to get it back. So keep that;-)

Place is still hard to find, some kids pointed us the way. Prive is now 750met/pp incl. car but is way to expencive for wat you get! We tot a free upgrade to a room but didn’t us it because the room had a nasty smel, prefered to sleep in the car🤔. Te location is very Nice and quiet but not at that cost!

Report Check-In

The main access road was washed away in 2016. Luckily the owner saw us trying to get to the camp and showed us an alternative route. If coming from Chimoio, do not turn off at the old stone signpost. Drive on a bit until you find a metal sign post reading Casa Msika. The very narrow road leads through a small village, it's a tight fit for big rigs.

Report Check-In

road impassable - at least in rainy season.
