A dozen steel containers, old and empty, abandoned around 2014 when border control officers moved to the argentinian side. Now they all share the same building. Good protection from wind, even for cars. There is nothing left from the immigration officers: all is empty. Amazing star gazing spot... Beware of high altitude! No Internet from local Chilean Entel.

Report Check-InThese days both Chilean and Argentina immigration are located at the same place 25km into Argentina. Before that, there used to be a Chilean immigration office here which is now abandoned. An okay space for me and the bicycle for the night out of the wind. I think the stream nearby is fresh and drinkable based on what other cyclists told me, but I had plenty of water so didn’t need to check
