we find this spot better than the previus where it is writing no parking and no camping. Here we ask the familly from a little tienda and they said no problem to camp here.

In January there was no water, so almost no one. A police officer confirmed to us that we could sleep here. Once 6 PM, the restaurant turns off its music, but they turn on a street light. The night was quiet, the tables in the sun were pleasant, however the toilets were closed.
Report Check-InAll the other mentions are true, but I don't thi k you will ever be alone here. Also, the music from the restaurant starts early in the morning. (or maybe it never stops) but we preferred the other location.
Report Check-InThis place is great, right next to the Quebrada with what appears to be a man made pool which is fed from the stream above. Toilets, sinks and some shade under the large bamboo tree. The family living in the house adjacent are more than happy to sell you beer or carne for the BBQ. Would defo avoid at weekends, unless screaming adolescents are your thing. During the week you'll probably be alone. It's about an hours walk to the Las Gachas de Guadalupe. To access the parking you have to drive through a stream, which I hear can be a full on river at times. For us, it wasn't a problem to cross even in our lowered VW bus.
