A bit noisy, but very safe and the cleanest toilets. We had a good night of sleep.

Rest area with bathroom, snack machine, and convenient store during day time hours was closed at midnight quite and nice stop

Report Check-In

We spent a peaceful night at this rest area. Felt safe, had good Verizon coverage. The van fit easily into a car space. Plenty of picnic tables. While there was interstate noise, trees hid much of the traffic and buffered the noise.

Report Check-In

Nice easy spot for an overnight, with bathrooms and vending machines open all night. Lots of parking spaces and quite a bit larger than a standard rest stop. 10-15 other cars here overnight along with quite a few trucks.

Report Check-In

Very clean, safe, and large rest area perfect for a night or two. The welcome center itself has a few large bathrooms, information center, water, and vending machines (even has $1 vending machine for coffee in the morning). There is plenty of parking and if you have an rv or camper I saw a bunch of those stay the night over in the truck section. I brought my dog and there is a lot of room for them to walk and run around in the picnic area. It’s only about 20 mins from Indiana sand dunes national lakeshore. Was planning on only staying one night but all other campgrounds were full the days I was passing through so I came back a second night. No problems. Felt extremely safe. This is definitely one of the nicer rest areas I’ve been to.
