Great free camping with pit toilet and non-potable Water. Thé sites are large with à faire pit. You are likely to observe many birds and maybe some moskitos. Perfecto if you like a quiet csmpground.

Wonderful ad always. little bit buggy. spacious. easy road in too

Sites are visible to each other, but spacing is good. Very flat sites. I might have lucked out because the other campers (5 of them) were dead quiet. Couldn't even hear talking.

Second night, plan to stay 1 more. We got here a day earlier than our reservation, it was not a problem. Saw a law enforcement officer he stayed for about 30 min, he stayed in his truck and did not talk to any of the campers. We pulled in at night in our converted cargo van and got stuck trying to get to a campsite area. It was good enough for the night, and another camper helped pull us out in the morning. Be aware of the lower muddy areas even if it hasn’t rained recently. Tons of mosquitoes right now (about a week and half after a large storm). About 6 other camps setup, mostly tents. Plenty of room for all of us. No t-mobile service for me. Overall, nice place, nothing to special.

third time here. same nice place as indicated below..... except the access road with monster potholes has be fixed. smooth now. VZW decent, but data varies wildly from hardly anything to being pretty fast..... but 80% of the time it's fine. good enough for zoom calls etc. weekends seem to be the worst time

Stayed free three days, quiet neighbors, lots of dogs on leads. Barely had enough phone service to work, 1bar or less T-Mobile.

I don’t recommend this place. There is a troupe of hippies that look like they’ve been living here for months. They are rude and loud and have chickens running all over the place. I think they think they own this public campground or something. Also I tried to fly my drone and had a one of the women of the group harass me prompting me to have to call the police. I think they must be hiding something that’s why they were so aggressive. When they came they talked to them but this has definitely changed my mind about this spot. Nobody checks in on this place and sets things right. Don’t stay here if you are looking for some R n R. Go to any of the other recreation sites on the website you use to reserve.
