Great site with all amenities and a free shuttle to Matera via the host Gianfranco who is a fount of local knowledge. It is the site above the Gokart track and below the restaurant, don't confuse it with another site about 100 metres along the road.

Great campsite for tents, vans, motor homes (saw even a Iveco truck), clean facilities, free wifi.
The owner is super friendly, loves to explain you what you should do/see in Matera. There's even a free shuttle to the city during the day/evening.
You can buy cold water, beer, wine, coffee and order bread for the next day.
Only downside, there's almost no shade where you park or pitch the tents.
