At the base of a 100 mtr dune. Right next to the road, so no 4WD needed. It is not a pristine place as Iranians come here also, but it ain't a bad place to be.
You can go further to the next group of high dunes, where you'll be all alone, but the road is not good enough for 2WD as there are invisible soft spots. (We hit one and sank 20 cm deep, took us an hour to get out).

nice place after 40km (2.5 hours) dort Road. We paid 1.5 Mil Rial at the gate. The dunes are really great fir a hike at Sunset.

Report Check-InExactly, not a bad place to be and save for 2wd. We had the place for ourselves. Camels and coyotes come to visit. Make sure you climb up the dunes.
