Description

Quite, far from the road, cool at night and nice during the day. Just a pull of the road going up to Palo Seco Reserve. We’ve seen only one car going up the narrow paved road. Great to spend a nice night. No facilities, 3 bars Movistar, free

Just about ok for a tent! It's a nice quiet spot but better for vehicles than tents due to hard surface. We arrived on bicycles in the fog/rain and tucked into one of the cleared corners to avoid the worst of the puddles & mud. our tent stands without pegs so we were ok. Slept well with minimal noise from the trucks on the main road. our tent & clothes dried well in the morning sun. would stop here again as there isnt much else around!

Very safe place! Spend here one night, but will stay more if the time was not an issue. Cell signal Tigo, very cold a night which is perfect with this hot weather everywhere.

still a very peaceful spot for overnighting. paved all the way including the spot itself, no problem getting there and away in pouring rain with 2WD van

Very quiet at night. We felt very safe. Can get very wet in rainy saison. It used to be an concrete parking so if you want to fix an awning you have no chance. Nice place for one night.

So thrilled we found this place for our first night in Panama, after crossing at Sixaola. It was so incredibly beautiful, with a view of the Caribbean and islands. The weather was the best part. Bugs weren’t bad other than at twilight. Very peaceful and felt safe. Several vehicles passed and honked hello. Three workers walked down the hill (going home from work) and we exchanged pleasantries. There isn’t a lot of space to spread out with high grass and some mud, but we were able to park to have gravel where our door opens, and that worked well. I’ll remember this place as being very special.

we crossed into Panama and there weren't many spots on our route, but this spot is great. you can kind of hear the road down below but it's faint. for one night only 1 car drove by and 2 more in the morning. very peaceful and the noise from the forest is relaxing. nice paved road all of the way up here.

Stayed here for a night. Quite foggy all the time, but so quiet. From the evening to the next morning, we only saw two cars. Good night rest even though you can hear the cars/trucks passing by on the main road. Felt quite safe, plenty of space. We slept in our 4x4 but I guess you can put a tent here even though it can be a bit muddy.

Good quiet place in the nature to stay. Fresh breezing and the view must be crazy if the weather is good. Flat gravel ground.
