Campsite was closed when we arrived. We ended up wild camping next to the road towards the campsite. It was very quiet and no local minded. They even have us a watermelon.
Report Check-InLucia is a friendly host (owner), with this charming "guesthouse", neatly fenced with precast wall. Lots of trees for shade, no grass. The campsite feels like an "afterthought" - with no charm.
As the campsite has open air ablutions, it is VERY rustic, but clean, with NO hot water (showers). Lucia suggested we use the bathroom (hot shower) of the chalet closest to the campsite, which we politely declined, seeing we can make our own hot water.
We paid R110 per person.
Good firewood R30 per wheelbarrow.
As mentioned by others, it is ideal for a 1 night stopover.
The place looks not too bad. However, the announcement of WiFi of the sign is not (anymore?) true. The owner confirmed that.
We didn't stay.
Nice stay over before boarder.
Shaded stands. Not to far from tar road
nice place with good shade
a lot of sand
