Something not right?

Description

In winter road is not plowed and is too snowy to travel to the campground.

Very nice secluded campground with 6-7 spots. Pit toilet, picnic tables, fire rings and grills. Way back in the woods but still has great AT&T service. Right on the lake!

nice quiet spot for the nite, except for the target shooting which started early morning. not all sites are flat.

Honestly just go anywhere else. There's broken glass everywhere and there's literal swarms of mosquitoes. The river looked really pretty but it's actually really slow moving and is full of algae floating on top.

Still closed today.. Only day parking, no overnight parking unfurtunaly. This place looks really nice. No service with t-mobile.

Forest service website lists the campground as open from 05/15-10/15. It was sadly still closed when I arrived on 05/24. No posted reason why, but I presume it's still closed for the season. Luckily there is dispersed camping available on the forest roads near the campsite and in the general area.

Small, pit toilets, dirt road, free. Can also stay in the forest just before the turn-off to Odessa. Lots of big black ants.

Report Check-In

Fine spot to spend a night or so. Relatively narrow road through the campgrounds and pretty heavily wooded; made maneuvering our 38' rig a little sketchy at moments. Alot of mosquitoes, even in April. There were a handful of large pull offs on the Forrest Service road coming out here that probably would've been a better spot for us to spend the night at. Free!

Report Check-In

Good for an overnight, though the limit is 14 days. Good privacy from the neighbors but there are a lot of bugs from the water nearby.

Report Check-In

A nice free camping spot just inside national forest. Fire rings and picnic tables. About 6 spots. Small boat ramp. (Free up to 14 days.)
4 bars of Verizon 4G.

Beautiful place, a little dusty, but way too many mosquitos for us and the pups.

Pure nature. Just arrived. 3 rv on the spot. When there is more People, difficult with big rv to turn.
