I am from Germany and am traveling through South America with my family for a year. Because I had a problem with the turbo, I went to Gianfranco and his team. The workshop was very full but he didn't hesitate to help. There were no spare parts for my car in Chile. But they tried everything and he knows a friend who can build the replacement part. We were able to continue our journey the next day, for a fair price! He is nice, helpful and knows that travelers don't have much time for an appointment. Many thanks!

Ich bin aus Deutschland und reise mit meiner Familie ein Jahr durch Südamerika. Weil ich eib Problem mit dem Turbo hatte bin ich zu Gianfranco und seinem Team. Die Werkstatt war aehr voll aber er hat nicht gezögert mit zu helfen. Es gab für mein Auto in ganz Chile kein Ersatzteil. Aber sie haben alles versucht und er kennt einen Freund der das Ersatzteil bauen kann. Am nächsten Tag konnten wir weiterreisen, für einen fairen Preis! Er ist nett, hilfsbereit und weiß das Reisende nicht viel Zeit für einen Termin haben. Danke vielmals!

Soy de Alemania y estoy viajando por Sudamérica con mi familia durante un año. Como tuve un problema con el turbo, acudí a Gianfranco y su equipo. El taller estaba muy lleno pero no dudó en ayudar. No había repuestos para mi auto en Chile. Pero lo intentaron todo y él conoce a un amigo que puede fabricar la pieza de repuesto. ¡Pudimos continuar nuestro viaje al día siguiente, por un precio justo! really nice and professional mecanic with a good knowledge. he knows he's on the app and says he takes care of travellers immediately as he knows they want to continue their travels as fast as possible - although he normally has a waiting list of a few days.
prices are okay - no gringo charge, but neither cheap. but indeed he took take of our jeep immediately when we arrived, went to pick up the spare parts at his own and replaced our wheel hub bearing in less than 3 hours. took us 60.000 for the spare part (of a Suzuki Grand Nómade, in Santiago it costs 45.000) and 60.000 for his work. as we are fluent in Spanish we don't know about his English skills - probably he doesn't speak it. but I don't think he takes higher prices for non Spanish speakers!

Excellent results, changed the water pump, and related hardware in my Sprinter 413. He got the spares from Santiago and repaired the MH in the time he said and at half the price than others in the city.

Very good mechanic. Very honest and thorough. He checked our turbo, waterpump and coolant leak. Changes our universal joints. Well equipped. Only speaks Spanish.
