Very beautiful waterfall. See the informal campsite info as well. Just wanted to add the tourist attraction as we think it was worth the 1.5km from the road for a look.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Thx for the tip to stay on the 26! We are going north but were told it's better to drive back south to Las Lajas and take the 40 from there. Would be faster than looping north from here, so that's what we did!
Very beautiful waterfall, amazing colours. The colours of autumn add another dimension to it. Worth the detour!
Report Check-InTotally worth the drive here. If you are coming from the south, after Loncopué, stay on RP26 which is paved until Caviahué. RP21 turns into ripio after few km.
With the suggested route, you have 15 km of ripio compared to about 40 km.
Report Check-InLoooot of water today so not as in the pictures you see everywhere but still amazing.
In the morning you can see rainbows coming out of the waterfall.
We did a large detour to visit this and it was worth it - just remember that it looks best in sunrise when light directly hit the waterfall and you see all the colors!
