Description

Nice and quiet spot just outside Trevelin. Amazing views of the mountains. No services, only water from river. Enough space for about 6 camper vans + tents (flat ground, some stones but ok). some trees for shade. Several fire pits there + on some spots on the way there (probably some fishermen may visit this area, nobody there when we were there-sunday to monday 1 night).
* DIRECTIONS: head towards RP 71 from Trevelin (exit just in front of Axion fuel station) cross the Kansas bridge over the Percy river (narrow, only space for 1 vehicle). Take first left just as you exit the bridge, down hill ripio road and left again under the bridge. Not suitable for big rigs since it’s quite narrow. Be careful if rainy or very cold (ripio may freeze), especially when getting out because of the steep road to enter/exit (no need for 4WD, it’s only 10-15m long).

Attention: the last reachable (and best) spot is about 150m before the marked position, closed with a fence-gate.

vinimos en 4x4 con casilla rodante, no sé si un auto común baja y sube sin problema

Report Check-In

excelente lugar. gracias por las indicaciones 🙂 nosotros bajamos en 4x4, porque llevamos casa rodante para estar más cerca del río. pero con un vehículo común no deberían tener problema

Came here in the morning to make breakfast and take a dip in the river. Nice spot. Definitely follow the written directions and not maps.me.

Report Check-In

Perfect spot for spending a night! Close to town but also secluded. Easy access, no trash. More spots available in the area.

Report Check-In

Perfect place for wildcamping, easy to reach but hidden from the town. If you have a bicycle or dirt bikes like us you can easily find even more hidden locations. A couple of people passed by in the evening but didn't bother us

Now is closed by a fence, but you can open it. Nice spot for one night, with beautiful view of Percy River and Mountains. Follow the first overlander instructions 👌🏽

Report Check-In

Beautiful quiet place on the river. But if you only stay one night the place doesn’t worth it beacause the small way to come here on this place is pretty bad.
And dont follow maps.me, folow the direction from this guy.
We drive a 2WD and we could drove to this place.
