The hole area is a construction site at the moment, even the commun area. Restaurant is closed and the footpath to the toilets/showers is deep mud. Not worth for 5$pppN and the bumpy road to go there.

as described.

a wonderful experience in the middle of the jungle. magnificent waterfalls, endless splendor of flowers and everything lush green. it rains once a day and therefore cools down pleasantly. of course the little bloodsuckers are omnipresent. just normal in this environment.

very friendly owners. a basket full of fruit and super fresh eggs from really free animals for little money.
Thank you for allowing us to experience something so beautiful. unique for us!

a small cottage for only 15U$ per night is also available. Camping U$5/night/person.

2 usd per person entry to the waterfalls, and 3 usd per person to camp. Hike to the waterfalls is very nice. Quiet spot and friendly people. Toilets and showers could be cleaner though.

Stayed for 1 night, it’s far from the main road. 10km bumpy road but doable with a 2WD 20 year old Van.
Nice views in daylight and the short hike to the waterfalls was amazing.
Dog was allowed but with a leash.

Clean toilet and shower, we payed 5$ pP per night

Amazing place to stay the first night in Ecuador. From the road 10km through a good condition path, they have a big parking lot.

Really calm place in the middle of the rainforest with a beautiful hike for visiting waterfalls and swim in the river.

The family is really nice and are really concerned about nature conservation.

Really peaceful camp, friendly owners, great sunset view, lots of space for camper vans. Amazing trail they've built past 8 waterfalls! 2nd one is great for swimming/washing yourself. Trail continues up with lots of home made hand rails strung between trees, steps cut into rock. Really worthwhile hike. $4/person (no charge for kids) for the night, including access to everything. Great peaceful jungle camp site! Now we go cross the border...
