Zambia
Nice camping site (still under construction) with a very friendly owner named captain James Kasamanda. A former Scotland Yard officer and senior investigator officer of the anti corruption commission of Zambia. you will be in good hands. We paid 100K to pitch our tent and 50K for food.

The sand dunes are pretty and the kids played well. Apart from that: the guy first offers us a place full of waste, then another clean place but suddenly with tall grass. To get to the toilets it's the bush. People from the village come to beg and when you say no, a lady stole a children's game that was not visible from where we were at the time. The guy at the campsite didn't care and didn't even help with turning around when we took the wrong path. We stayed because we were tired of the road but I don't recommend
Report Check-InOk for one night to sleep over in the shadpw of the rock escarpment wall. Shower was luke warm, but could have even be hot if we’d have switched the heater on in time. 100 kwacha/pppn. Friendly staff.
Report Check-InLodge and campsite next to a rock escarpment
The campsite is nice with many trees so ok for shadow if you camp
Basic facilities but ok though, there is a shower and flush toilet. They say they can provide hot water but it was cold for us.
Close to the road, so we heard the trucks a bit but at least it is easy to come and go
Much cheaper than the other campsite around we paid 300 kwachas for 2 people and you support a small Zambian business
Report Check-InAfter having read the reviews, we decided to stay over at this site. The main attraction was to be able to plug into shore power, in order to fully charge the house batteries for a change and do other chores requiring 220V. The venue was however totally neglected, the attendant could not understand English and it turned out that they did nit have electricity at the time. We made no further enquiries and proceeded to Kundalila Falls.
Report Check-InVery basic, looks abandoned but still 100K which is only 4.5$ pnpp. They open a room for you for the bathroom hot water. OK if you're tired from driving. I don't know about all the the other facilities since we didn't use any, No Wi-fi
Report Check-InSimple place, with nothing special. First price was 100 kwacha, but accepted my price of 50 kwacha. Finally didn't stayed, was early and nothing to do there.
