Large Campground with primitive sites in Bandelier National Monument. A lot of shade, nice surroundings. Every place has a picnic table and a firepit (firewood for sale at the entrance). There are toilets but no showers. There is also fresh water available. Playground for children. Close to hiking trails. $12 per night (seniors $6). All sites have paved parking but no hookups. I saw no spaces for big rigs

Amazing park with awesome trails, and the campground is great too. Stayed in A lot #7, pretty level to begin with and great coverage from the neighbor lots. Bathrooms are heated and clean with running water, also a dish washing sink area. Potable water and lots of fire wood.
Verizon and TMobile 1-2 bars LTE
It's now $20/ night to camp here. Automated pay station at campground entrance for first-come first-serve sites. Camp wood also available near pay station.
Report Check-InStayed at site #17. Level and spacious. Picnic table, fire pit, bear box. Water spigot across street.
Report Check-InAs described by others, 1 bar T-Mobile in the Coyote loop which is the best loop for shaded sites in the trees. Very clean bathrooms and dump station. Lots of good hiking trails. Frey trail will take you 1.5 miles down into the canyon to the Visitors Center, cafe, store, and Pueblo trail. Also, if you don’t want to hike back up, you can take a shuttle that runs from 9am-3pm.
Report Check-InWe visited Bandelier National Monument but didn’t stay here. On our way out we stopped to use the dump station which is very clean. We also filled our water tank. We only saw a few campers on this Sunday afternoon.
Report Check-InAs described. In Abert loop two bars Verizon but no data. Weather apps get no data. There is an automated kiosk at the campground entrance where you can also buy firewood at $1 per stick. No pets on any trails kept us from staying more than one night
Report Check-InAs described. They close the RV dump if it will be freezing. No fresh water at the dump but several threaded faucets throughout the loops. Extremely clean site and restrooms. Bear boxes for food storage if needed.
Streaming with Verizon worked with a booster, Tmobile did not. We were in the Coyote loop. Nice tree cover. Other loops a bit more exposed if you need solar.
March 2023 $12/night. Few people here. Only the group campground is reservable. This campground has 50 first come, first served sites. Camp host here during summer months. Park rangers come by often in the winter. Small sites, paved. Many are not level. Bring your ramps!
Dogs allowed only in the campground, not on trails.
Report Check-Inas the visitorcenter was already closed we asked the camphost if we could stay. No problem as long as we payed 12$ next day at the visitorcenter. quiet place, camp ranger drove by couple of times for security.
Report Check-InBeautiful setting, lots to do nearby, water, toilet, garbage. $12 a nite. Sites are not made for big rigs, tents, small trailers and vans ok.1-2 bars Verizon service in the coyote loop at the top. Stayed 3 wonderful days!
Report Check-Inwe arrived at 6pm and there was a lot of space. all clean. firewood 1$ per piece of wood.
cellphone doesn't work with telekom.
As described by earlier visitors. We arrived around 2pm on Monday and many open spaces. The first two sections have mostly tall bushes or short trees 12-15 ft max. The third section has some tall pines.
Host was delightful and professional.
Report Check-InNice campground. The nearby ruins are def worth checking out. Water was shut off, so we couldn't fill our tanks. No luck with an ATT signal, and with the WeBoost we barely got a little 3G, but it was hardly usable.
Report Check-InTons of water spigots close to the road. Done with hose thread, some without. Water still on as of mid December.
