Description

Parking is on the street outside the home of an amazing family! Space for a couple vehicles, probably not suitable for true big rigs (plenty of space for our Sprinter). Very quiet street and safe area. The family has been letting bicyclists stay with them for a few years. There is a spot in the garden where they allow people to stay in a tent. They will welcome you into their home to use their outdoor kitchen and bathroom and hang out in the garden. They love to tell travelers all about Ocosingo and show them around the town. Also, don't be surprised if they cook you some food and offer coffee! The daughter runs artisan clothing shop out of the house - be sure to check her work out! Just holler from the gate for Jose, Elki, or Nina. They love having guests and are truly amazing people! They do not expect any money but please respect their wonderful hospitality. Maybe find a small way to bless them, especially if they feed you a bunch (we bought some of their produce when they took us to the market). One night turned into four for us!

Magnifique place! My favorite! The family is BEAUTIFUL! Take care of you like you are part of the family! Don Jose Luis (Pepe’s) will bring you to the city and eat some tacos. You will probably stay more longer. They have a kitchen, a shower, a toilet, place for tent and camper (in the street, safe). I will let the number of Nina, the daughter, but there’s always someone at the house and places. +52 9191582697 she speak a little bit of English and French. You can text her before coming but you can also arrive on your own! They will be very happy to see you. We went to a festival, est tacos, eat with the family and more!
