Large open flat area. No facilities. Nice views into the river canyon. Some target shooting trash nearby.

A windy but well maintained dirt road to get in. Large area with room for several RVers not having to be too close to each other. Reasonably flat areas, easy to level. We came in December, didn’t run into ice until we got to the spot. Small patches of ice required to put the truck in 4wd. Could potentially be very muddy and slick in the spring or after rain. Definitely worth looking at.
Report Check-InAs others have described. Was definitely a great place to observe a thunderstorm!
Report Check-Inflat open area on top of a mesa. no facilities. dramatic place for a thunderstorm.
Report Check-InNice place next to a scenic canyon. Road is easily drivable by any car, campsites were pretty windy when i was there. would stay again.
Report Check-InPrevious descriptions are accurate. Nice smooth well-graded gravel road (probably in support of the logging trucks I'm sure.) However, for larger rigs, be warned that the grades are a tad steep going down into the canyon and then coming back out again. We took it slow and were able to get our 39' toy hauler fifth wheel in there just fine.
Report Check-InWe got in after midnight and pulled right in with no issues, very quite spot away from the main first service road if you follow it all the way to the pit at the end. We were the only ones there the next day too. The view from the end of the road in the morning was awesome, I’ll add a picture of it!
Report Check-Invery Nice spots at about 15-20 minutes from the 495 road. we found a place with a view and à fireplace. the access dirt road is in very good shape. no need awd.
Report Check-Invery nice site. smooth gravel road coming up from the river, last 1000' before turnoff is dirt but also smooth (might be muddy if wet).
first spots easy for big rigs, more further down that are better for small vehicles/high clearance
Report Check-InLarge open flat area. No facilities. Nice views into the river canyon. Some target shooting trash nearby.
