4x4 needed to get over rivers that cross road. Huge primitive camping with 5 firerings . Spring water fed river and deep water for safe cliff dives. Fishing is available many large mouth bass at location. This is a carry in carry out campsite. If bringing trailer tread very carefully is a must .

We loved this spot! Creek is almost totally dried up right now which gave us the opportunity to walk around where the water would’ve been, roads around it were beautiful (good & easy off-roading opportunity) and we got to talk to some locals who had been visiting this spot for 40 years- they had never seen the water levels so low. Burn ban in place since it’s currently so dry. Minimal trash, and the trash we saw we picked up. There are a good amount of bugs and daddy long legs, definitely bring mosquito spray. One bar of AT&T, no Verizon. We were the only ones camping there, would definitely recommend this spot!
Report Check-InEasy drive here in our 2wd 1995 camper van. They had a road that went across the river no 4x4 needed. There’s some big rocks/gravel at the entrance but we didn’t have a problem. Lots of spots on the way to this location. We stayed one night and no one else stayed at this spot even on Memorial Day weekend. Lots of ATVs and dirt bikes but they didn’t bother us. Ok AT&T and T-Mobile signal (1 bar LTE). The cliff is gorgeous and there’s a trail to walk down to the water.
Report Check-InWonderful campsite! Beautiful view, easy access to the river, small fish around, BUT….. trash was left everywhere. We had to clean around to fully enjoy it. Do nature and other campers a favor and pack your stuff and take ALL YOUR TRASH.
Cliff jumping area was super nice we setup a hammock right there, it was perfect.
Very beautiful area but a lot of trash left behind, please pack in and pack out!
Report Check-InDirt road leading up to several dispersed camping sites. Along the road. We were pulling a trailer with an atv and a rzr and had no problem getting to our camping spot. There were several others camping in the area.. but no one close to each other since hue area is large. No one else was on our camping side which allowed us to enjoy the privacy. Lots of trees and creek was close by. Water was low but still good enough to provide a swimming hole for the kids to enjoy. Spend the labor weekend here. Will definitely be back!
Report Check-InGreat spot! Lots of open space, and multiple rock fire rings. One area had a lot of trash, pack it out people! No one else there, beautiful cliff views of the river. High clearance 4x4 required, but an easy two track road without obstacles or rock crawling
Report Check-InNice and quiet during the night. Slept good due to the sound of rushing water. A few side by sides came through in the morning. Looks like a lot of atv trails go back through there. Also looks like a fun place to swim. I’m definitely going to have to come back in the warmer months. There are about 5 or more little camping spots with fire rings. Had no trouble getting back there.
Report Check-InFantastic off grid camping, could be a little tricky for low vehicles. Our Jeep and off road rig had no issue accessing the spot. A few locals stopped by to enjoy the water very friendly. We would recommend this spot.
