Stayed here for two nights and we enjoyed this (for us) unknown CS very much. Beautiful view and Sunset and a lot of bird activity. A yellow-billed Kite hunted three meters next to us and a lot of owlets were in the trees around camp.

Stoped here for our first night in the CKGR. Woke up to two lioness looking in the window of the Defender. Less than 2m away...

Really nice campsite. Not much visible wildlife around in that area.
It was the only free spot for our third night in the central Kalahari. 15 -20 min drive back to the junction for game loops. Road is ok, you can go with 40 km/h.

Beautiful site with shade from surrounding trees, no facilities. 360 view over the pans. Booked at the entrance, very friendly staff! The site is very isolated, 13 km from the start of the first loops.

This is more like a bush camping- no facilities, no pit toilet, no bucket shower, no water, no fence. You are in the middle of sawanna with some trees that gives you shadow. Run by DWNR, price P30 pppn.

After a long drive from Xade gate (200 km in 6 hours) this was the only spot open for tonight and it’s perfect, views all around of the pan, plenty of shade and silence!!

Isolated campground under trees with lots of birds and great view. No facilities, no water. Can be booked at the Matwane gate.
