Latest Check-Ins

We stayed there one night with one another RV in our Van. No problems. It is about a mile away from the Arctic Ocean Shuttle.

Report Check-In

Close to trucks frequented road, but view is worth it. Lots of Caribou keeping us company.

Report Check-In

Slept here last night no issues. Caribou woke us up at 2am but we were happy to see them. Full Tmobile service.

Report Check-In

Nice spot. Along the river. Close to the city and very quiet.

Report Check-In

In the official brochure of BLM (2019) it is mentioned that Deadhorse is not safe for tent camping due to some bear attacks in the area. And: it's not a nice place to set up a tent!

Report Check-In

We were looking for a place to stay that would be convenient to the shuttle early in the morning. We're self-contained in our 25 foot MH. We stayed one driveway south of the coordinates as there were 2 trucks already in that site. There were several more sites beyond ours heading south. Our site was safely above the river level should it rise and below the road level for some privacy. It was essentially across the road from the shuttle stop. There was some road noise, yet not excessive. It was level. We had reasonable ATT cell coverage through CGI. Camping was free.

Report Check-In

Nice view at the river from NE to SW. Space is also used by waiting trucks, but enough space for all. Industrial Deadhorse does not spoil the view. Tide is 0.15m only.

Report Check-In

Flat gravel space right next to the road. Had a muskox walk right past us on the Dalton Highway.

Report Check-In

Nice spot and surprisingly private if you can get the spot hidden by the sand dune right next to the river! It's pretty close to the road so you can still hear some trucks going by but not too bad. When we stayed it was pretty windy so it kept mosquitoes away but the area overall is rough. One minute from the Arctic Ocean Tour. Free, no amenities.
