$10/night for nice room with double bed and shared bathroom ($15 for private bathroom). All clean and in good condition. Locked storage for bicycles in the driveway. Good selection of restaurants 5min walk away. Seems tricky to find but the maps are accurate, it is signposted and you can see it from a distance. A hard cycle through from Cuenca in one day but possible (leave early!) and I didn't find anything else on the road in-between.

Really clean place, still $10 for 1 person with shared bathroom. Fast WiFi. I saw the comments about ‘warm not hot’ water, but you can get hot water by using a lower pressure on the electric shower like normal.

Great place to spend the night to cut up the drive! The hotel is nice and new, rooms are clean and cozy. Spacious secure parking, but around a 3m height limit due to the power lines. Good wifi, quiet town even on the weekend, warm showers (not hot). $25/room for 2 people or $4pp to sleep in the car.

Oña is a good option for a stop. hotel: tents, motorhome and for rooms services. Clean, big and comfortable; share and private bathroom. Hot water, share kitchen (simple but works) and safe big parking lot. Wifi.

Really nice place. Beautiful hacienda, with clean and large rooms, warm shower, private parking, shared kitchen, good wifi, quiet at night.
10$pp, nice owners.
They kept my bike safe in a room.
Several restaurants and shops on the road, 3 minutes walking.

The place looks like a great new hacienda and indeed it’s build well. We stayed in a double bed room under the rooftop with shared bathroom facilities. The room is spacious and comfy includes basics like cupboard, two chairs, jacket hangers. Towels, soap, shampoo is provided.
There are two shared bathrooms on this story. Those are incredible clean and tidy like the room such as the whole facility. Warm shower. They charge 10 $USD per person. A secure car park in the front of the house. Several restaurants nearby. Wifi was good until three family’s poped up.
Definitely recommend this place.

as described, neat, clean, good facilities. The owner speaks good English and is very obliging. It is infact well signposted from the main road. Several nasty barking dogs, 1 of which bit my leg! Showers are warm enough. Good sized room. Cycle locked up in downstairs room.Strongly recommend this well kept hotel. Single room $10.

Still $10 pp in double room, cash only, with great bed. Really nicely finished, get towels and shampoo, hot shower and good WiFi. We were allowed to use the kitchen but not sure if it’s open to everyone (they also have rental apartments so might be more for them? We just asked) Locked room for bicycles. Quiet and safe place to stay.

Great hotel, well signed from two different entrances. Hot showers (as long as you don’t open tap wide open; you need to regulate flow, slower = hotter). Was a great spot to chill out for a couple of days and get some maintenance caught up on vehicle plus some r&r. Owner speaks english and yard is paved.

Very lovely hotel and a very lovely owner! 10USD per person for the room, 3 USD if you spend the night in your car. Clean bathrooms, warm shower (hot would be a bit exaggerated if you ask me) and comfy seating area. It seems to be a favorite spot for big families on the weekend, they were quite noisy when we stayed there. Not sure if big rigs can enter, the path up there is small and the entrance is a steep curve

best place to stop between Cuenca and Loja for cycle tourists. hot shower, nice place to chill when using WiFi, gated camping on terrace is still $2! nice family too.

They let us camp in their parking lot and use their showers and wifi for $2pp. Clean bathrooms and warm showers.

Hotel Galindo was easy to find at Oña. There are lots of signs on the E35 PanAmerican highway. Secure parking. Beautiful building. Patricio speaks English and he and his family are very welcoming and friendly. Rooms from $10 to 15 per person. Very comfortable and clean with hot showers. Cafes and service station nearby and Oña village a five minute walk with lots of services. Set in beautiful mountain country with amazing views from the hotel. Patricio can take you to many of the places nearby...waterfalls, distilleries, mountain top panoramic views and remote villages. We planned to stay one night but happily stayed three...and would like to have stayed longer.

Absolutely beautiful place. After being drowned on the bicycle all day this place is just what I was after. Paid $10 hot shower great wifi. The town itself is also very nice

Hostel overlooking Ona Ecuador. A little tricky to find, up a hill overlooking the village. Clean rooms, hot showers, fast wifi and one of the owners speaks English. Paid $15.00 foe one night.
